Vor der Unterzeichnung des Münchener Abkommens am 29.September 1938:

Am 15. September erfolgte ein Gespräch zwischen dem deutschen Außenminister von Ribbentrop (r.a.) und dem britischen Premierminister Chamberlain (2.von r.) in dessen Residenz, dem Grand Hotel Berchtesgaden. Zugegen waren außerdem Staatsminister Meißner (3.von r.) und der britische Botschafter in Deutschland Henderson (l.).
