English: A sign being affixed to a shop window with the message "Seized for frontline combatants. Gotenhafen, 10 February 1940. Mayor." After the invasion of Poland by the German Wehrmacht in 1939, Polish shops in the port city of Gdynia (renamed "Gotenhafen" by the Nazis 1939–1945) were seized by the Germans.
