For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, polnische Gastarbeiterin ADN-ZB Häßler 18.5.73-Dresden: 300.000 Stunden Arbeitszeit wollen die Werktätigen des Stammbetriebes Sachsenwerk Dresden vom VEB Kombinat Elektromaschinen einsparen. Dieses Ziel soll erreicht werden durch wissenschaftliche Arbeitsorganisation und zielstrebige Rationalisierung. Die Elektromaschinen werden von Werktätigen aus der VR Polen bei der Erfüllung der Wettbewerbsvorhaben tatkräftig unterstützt. Longina Zajkowska arbeitet bereits seit 2 Jahren in der Maschinenfabrik des Sachsenwerkes. Auf unserem Foto arbeitet sie an einem Motorteil für einen Schiffsgenerator.
