For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-BZ-Sturm-22.5.74- Die Errichtung des Erdölverarbeitungswerkes Schwedt war eines der großen Jugendobjekte in den 25 Jahren des Bestehens der DDR. Doch auch heute ist der Stammbetrieb des Petrolchemischen Kombinates Schwedt weitgehend ein Werk der Jugend, und der Jugendschneid von damals ist auch heute gefragt. 13 wichtige Anlagen und Betriebsabschnitte sind im Werk Jugendobjekte, darunter auch die Anlage zur Herstellung von Terephthalsäure, dem Ausgangsprodukt für die Grisuten-Oberbekleidung und andere Industrieerzeugnisse auf Polysterbasis. UBz: In Containern und Säcken abgefüllt, wird die Terephthalsäure - ein weißes und scharf wie Essig riechendes Pulver - an die weiterverarbeitende Industrie geliefert, so beispielsweise an das Chemiefaserwerk Premnitz" |
