For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Eiskunstläuferin, DDR Aufn.: Illus Rudolph 2 T 531 7804-50 6.9.1950 Schw-Gr Eislauflehrgänge des Deutschen Sportausschusses in der Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle in Berlin. Nach Abschluß des III. FDGB-Kongresses wurde die Werner Seelenbinder-Halle in Berlin innerhalb von 36 Stunden zur Eissporthalle umgebaut, in der jetzt Eislauflehrgänge der Sparte Eislauf des Deutschen Sportausschusses stattfinden. UBz: Der Leiter des Lehrganges Wirthe (rechts), mit der 15-jährigen Sonja, der Jüngsten des 1. sechstägigen Lehrganges.
