For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Rheinsberg, Schloss, Grieneckersee
ADN-ZB Weisflog 18.10.1980 Bez. Potsdam: Schöne DDR-Eines der schönsten Schlösser der ehemaligen Mark Brandenburg befindet sich in Rheinsberg. Der Bau wurde als barocke Dreiflügelanlage 1734-1739 von J. G. Kemmeter und G. W. v. Knobelsdorff errichtet. Die Eckbauten an der Stadtseite entstanden 1736 unter G. K. Langhans. Das Schloß, dessen Innenausstattung ebenfalls bemerkenswert ist, dient heute als Diabetikersanatorium. |
