English:Michelle Thorne is Mozilla's Manager for the Webmaker Mentor team. She was in Bangalore during the first week of September, 2013 where Subhashish Panigrahi from Centre for Internet and Society's Access To Knowledge programme met her. In this video interview Michelle speaks about the Localization projects run by Mozilla, her long personal journey of Openness, Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), Cross cultural community collaboration, several challenges of community building, Mozilla's Webmaker tools and their strategies for community building through various programs like Train-The-Trainer program.
This interview was shot during Makers Party, a collaborative event cohosted by Mozilla India and Hive Learning Network for inviting together local organizations in a science fair setting, Demos of cool ideas, Fun hands-on activities and Get introduced to hacking. It was organized on 7th September 2013 at Jaaga.
