We waited and there was banks of cloud obstructing the sun and miraculously there was a break in the clouds. This was after we had some light showers and some moments of panic when thought we were going to miss it all together. Suddenly at the point of totality the world went dark for 2 minutes and we all realised that our day to day trials and tribulations are nothing compared to the dance of the planets and the sun.
