This map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}. It is recommended to name the SVG file “Canada towns map trim 430 named.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Notes[edit]

• Note that the name of Churchill, Manitoba has been corrected from the original CIA map (had been "Churchhill").
• Town/lake names and coordinate numbers have been enlarged from the original map by nearly 20%.
• Greenland and Russia have been re-colored, different from the color of the United States.
• Those various Canada-towns map files are purposely in GIF format to support animation features, and they should not be deleted into PNG-format files.
