Description

Ball-and-stick model of the captopril molecule, C9H15NO3S.

Colour code:

  Carbon, C: grey-black
  Hydrogen, H: white
  Nitrogen, N: blue
  Oxygen, O: red
  Sulfur, S: yellow

Structure (determined by X-ray crystallography) reported in Acta Cryst. (1980) B36, 3196–3199 (MCPRPL). Hydrogen atom positions not determined experimentally, but calculated automatically in DSV. C-S-H bond angle changed to ca. 90°.
