Cast copper-alloy sword belt fitting or sword belt hanger
Description
English: Cast copper alloy Tudor sword belt mount/sword belt hanger dating from the post medieval period, that is c. AD1500-1700. It consists of an eye-shaped or oval mount with a small copper alloy ring through the curved end. It has been cast in one piece, the end has been rolled over. Two rivets are present, and have been placed through the central section.
