Français : En bordure de la Meuse, dans un grand parc boisé, rougeoie le château de Dave ou
château de Fernan-Nunez.Au 16°s. La seigneurie de Dave, nommée « vicomté de Dave » échoit par mariage au duc de Barbençon. Au 17°s, il devient propriété des Ligne et d’Arenberg, et le domaine dans son intégralité, malgré la révolution française, par succession féminine revient à Carlos Guttierez de Los Rios, duc de Fernan Nunez. La famille s’est maintenue à Dave jusqu’à nos jours y faisant de fréquants séjours. Cette construction du 17e siècle, de briques rouges encadrées de pierre bleue, est remaniée au 18e et amplifiée au 19e siècle. Le château remplace une forteresse médiévale construite auparavant sur les hauteurs. |
