English: Channel between the two main stacks of Men-a-Vaur At one time it was a rite of passage for young men of Scilly to row or sail through the channel between these two rocks. Such a feat requires a fairly calm sea!
Men-a-Vaur is a favourite amongst naturalists as the seabirds on the cliffs allow the boats to get close in. |
