| Description |
Chester Cathedral choir stalls, 1380, detail of a misericord depicting three stories of Saint Werburgh: in the first she ensnares a flock of geese that had been bothering the neighbourhood by eating the crops. In the second she resurrects a goose that had been eaten from the remaining bones. In the third she performs an act of healing or conversion. |
