English: A close view of the skulls in one of the shelves inside the memorial. It is particularly disturbing upon closer examination of the skulls, many of which bear marks of the trauma they suffered before their execution. The skull in the centre for instance had a large crack on it. This probably denotes that the poor victim's skull had been cracked open by a violent blow using a machette or other sharp weapon.
