DescriptionChurch of Our Lady of Orada, Albufeira,26 July 2015 (3).JPG |
English: A Tomb monument in the forecourt of Convent of Our Lady of Orada. This church (Convento de Nossa Senhora da Orada) is a small chapel close to the Albufeira mariner, Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal. The church was rebuilt in the 18th century following the collapse of the original building after the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. The church was rebuilt principally to serve as a place of worship for local fishermen. In the forecourt of the church there are two tomb's both of victims of the constitutional struggles of the nineteenth century. |
