Gebäude erbaut 1865-1867 als Markthalle, 1879-1897 genutzt durch den Circus Renz, 1899-1918 genutzt durch den Zirkus Schumann, 1919 durch Hans Poelzig für Max Reinhardt umgebaut zum "Großen Schauspielhaus"; diverse Umbauten und Veränderungen, 1988 wegen Bauschäden abgebrochen
