Summary[edit]

Description
English: Clatteringshaws Loch from the heights of Benniguinea Clatteringshaws is an artificial lake/reservoir created by the damming of the River Dee and thus flooding what had once been the peat bog of Raploch Moss. It was on this spot, seven hundred years ago, that Robert-the-Bruce successfully attacked the encamped English army by night, slaughtering the infantrymen who were trapped in the unfamiliar boggy terrain.
