English: this is a clay black-pot to cook the pulses esp to make the paste, Tamil Nadu, India தமிழ்: பருப்பு கடையப் பயனாகும் சட்டி. சட்டி செய்ததும் வேகவைப்பதற்கு முன்பு சட்டியின் உட்புறம் பெரிய மணல் போன்ற கற்களை உட்புறமாக அழுத்திப் பதிய வைப்பார்கள் இவை காய்ந்ததும் சூலையில் வைத்து வேகவைப்பார்கள் . அதனால் மத்துகொண்டு கடையும் போது, வேக வைத்தப் பருப்பைச் சுலபமாகக் கடைந்தெடுக்க முடியும். அதனால் அப்பருப்புகள் விரைவில் மையும். |
