Summary[edit]
DescriptionCombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park Sealion Pool - geograph.org.uk - 80577.jpg |
English: Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park Sealion Pool. Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park has seen some changes since it first opened in 1986. The estate had been uninhabited, overgrown and derelict for over 10 years when Robert Butcher, founder of Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park , fell in love with the park's natural beauty and saw its potential. Having acquired Higher Leigh Manor in 1985, he set about the enormous task of rejuvenating the redundant buildings and overgrown estate, discovering hidden treasures like the rare English Elm, the Indian Bean Tree and, of course, the statue of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. |
