Complete silver annular brooch
Description
English: Medieval brooch consisting of a circular frame with grooved decoration at four equidistant points. Black niello decoration remains in some of the grooves but is missing in most of them. The pin survives intact and is still in place. The pin has a circular collar and tapers to a point.

The brooch is silver and dates from the 13th century or early 14th century.

Dimensions: diameter 35 mm.

In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
