  • Significance: Building 663 is significant for its long-time association with Crissy Field as an ammunition warehouse. Building 663 was constructed by the Golden Gate Bridge and Highway District, to replace other military structures that were necessary to remove prior to the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. This building is a contributory structure to the Presidio of San Francisco Historic Landmark District.
