There were galleries sup-ported by square Ionic pillars. The v/indows were roundarched. There v/as but one doorway, which was in thecentre of the steeple, and this was ornamented with somecarved work. The organ was the first iu Hartford, and for several yearsthe only one in this part of the vState.
