New Orleans, 1939: Convent of Notre Dame, 835 Josephine Street, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA SIDE ELEVATION (SOUTHEAST)

Note: Former convent and orphanage would be demolished in 1939; the St. Thomas Housing Projects built in part on the location. Closer to the camera are dilapidated wooden houses with paper condemnation orders visible. View is looking lakewards along Josephine Street; St. Mary's Assumption Church can be seen in the next block.
