Description

This is a collection of communication between Vittorio Balbo Bertone di Sambuy (Sardinian envoy in Vienna) and Clemente Solaro della Margarita (Sardinian Foreign Minister) regarding the Copyright Convention between Austria and the Kingdom of Sardinia of 1840, as reprinted (in part with commentary) in Mario degli Alberti, La politica estera del Piemonte sotto Carlo Alberto secondo il carteggio diplomatico, vol. 2 (1839—46), Torino 1915. The collection contains letters no. 605 (January 2, 1839), 606, 617, 625, Confidentielle XXIV, 629, 675, 682, 697, 769, Confidentielle XXXIX, 770, 776, 777, 779, 786, 787, 788, 799, 802, 810, 814, 824, 831, 842, 845, 853, 855, 857, 858, 867, 881, 882, 894, 901, 904, 906, 909, 914, 915, 916, 917, 918, 920, and 923 (July 3, 1840).
