I took this telephoto shot through the tres of Mt. Mazama. It is the only part of the original slope of the high mountain that remained after the collapse. If you follow the slope upward toward the top right corner, and keep going and going, you would find yourself at the 12,000 foot peak of the dormant volcano. And then one day the rumbling began, and then . . .
