English: Crawford Bridge, Bothwell Street Footbridge linking Bothwell Street with Albion Terrace. It was built in 1929 and named after the town councillor who proposed it. The bridge appears several times in the famous short film, 'The Singing Street', from 1951. The film, illustrating children's street games and songs, was made by teachers and pupils from nearby Norton Park School and shown at the Unica film festival in Barcelona in 1952. |
