Description
English: Greek lithograph honouring the armoured cruiser Averof for its role as the Greek fleet's flagship in the Balkan Wars. Clockwise from top left are depicted: King Constantine I of Greece, the businessman Georgios Averoff, Admiral Pavlos Kountouriotis and Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos. The laurels bear the names of the Greek islands and coastal towns taken by the Greek navy, and the two shields the dates of the two great naval battles of Elli and Lemnos.
Ελληνικά: Λιθογραφία του Θ/Κ ΑΒΕΡΩΦ για τη δράση του στους Βαλκανικούς Πολέμους. Δεξιόστροφα από πάνο αριστερά εικονίζονται ο βασιλιάς Κωνσταντίνος Α' της Ελλάδας, ο εθνικός ευεργέτης Γεώργιος Αβέρωφ, ο ναύαρχος Παύλος Κουντουριώτης και ο πρωθυπουργός Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος. Στα φύλλα δάφνης αναγράφονται τα ονόματα νήσων και παραθαλασσίων περιοχών που απελευθερώθηκαν από τον Ελληνικό Στόλο, και στους δυο θυρεούς αναγράφονται οι ημερομηνίες των ναυμαχιών της Έλλης και της Λήμνου.
