Français : Cycle sédimentaire émersif "shallowing upward sequence" métrique. Dépôt de lagon marin à la base, puis milieu intertidal à laminations stromatolitiques dolomitisées. Au sommet du cycle, brèche de tempête à matrice dolomitique: varves en "algal mat" disloquées et remaniées par les vagues et les courants sur le platier supratidal. Lias moyen du Haut Atlas, Maroc. English: Cyclic metric shallowing upward sequence. Lagoonal marine deposits at the base, then intertidal algal laminations (dolomitised). On top of cycle an hurricane breccia in a dolomitic matrix: reworked algal mat deposits and displaced foraminifera. See Septfontaine (1985): Rev de Micropal. for more details.
