Legenda[edit]

  • Gwiazdy zostały oznaczone jasnymi kółkami, których promień powiązany jest z ich obserwowaną jasnością, a kolor pokazuje barwę światła danej gwiazdy.
  • Jasnoszarym tekstem oznaczono polskojęzyczne nazwy gwiazdozbiorów bądź, w przypadku braku miejsca, skróty ich nazw łacińskich.
  • Purpurowo opisane zostały nazwy lub oznaczenia gwiazd oraz innych obiektów.
  • Białe okręgi (lub elipsy) pokazują rozmiary niektórych obiektów (np. galaktyk lub gromad otwartych)
  • Granice gwiazdozbiorów zaznaczone są przerywaną, jasnożółtą linią, a granice aktualnie prezentowanego gwiazdozbioru - linią jasnopomarańczową.
  • Linie łączące poszczególne gwiazdy w obrębie gwiazdozbiorów są koloru zielonego.
  • Drogę Mleczną ukazano jako zmiany koloru tła od ciemnego granatu do jasnego błękitu.
  • Czerwoną linią przerywaną oznaczona jest ekliptyka.
  • Białym tekstem opisane zostały większe powierzchniowo obiekty takie, jak Obłoki Magellana, czy gromada galaktyk w Pannie.

Linie ukazujące kształty gwiazdozbiorów zostały dobrane arbitralnie, jednak z akcentem na spójność z dostępnymi źródłami polskojęzycznymi, oraz, w niektórych przypadkach, tak, by bardziej odpowiadały nazwie gwiazdozbioru. Wyznaczone zostały one na podstawie następujących źródeł: książki "Niebo na dłoni" Eduarda Pitticha i Dusana Kalmancoka, książki "Nasze gwiazdozbiory" Josipa Kleczka, obrotowej mapy nieba opracowanej przez PTMA Kraków oraz programów SkyGlobe i Celestia.

Polski: Ta mapa gwiazdozbioru została stworzona przy pomocy programu PP3 autorstwa Torstena Brongera. Tłumaczenia na język polski oraz innych modyfikacji na potrzeby polskiej Wikipedii dokonał Przemysław 'BlueShade' Idzkiewicz. Grafika udostępniona jest na licencji GFDL w wersji 1.2 lub nowszej.
