Notes
  • Significance: Name derives from first owner, John Lenthall, Benjamin Latrobe's principal assistant in the construction of the U.S. Capitol. Good example of Federal Style, and one of the few such examples surviving in the immediate area. During early 20th century, #614 was the home of Washington artist, Bertha Noyes, and it was here that the Arts Club of Washington was founded in 1916.
  • Unprocessed Field note material exists for this structure: FN-61
