Object history Der Rechen ist dem Wappen der Truchsessen von Rechenberg, Ministerialen der Grafen von Oettingen, entnommen. Ein Zweig dieser Familie hatte seinen Sitz in Wilburgstetten und nannte sich nach diesem Ort. Bischof Rabanus von Eichstätt (1365 bis 1383) ist das bekannteste Mitglied dieser Familie. Er war seit 1342 Domherr in Eichstätt und seit 1353 Dompropst. Das Mühlrad weist auf die vielen ehemaligen Mühlen am Ufer der Wörnitz.
