English: The yard of a kindergarten in the old part of Shanghai (near the mosque), graced with a slogan: "大家请说普通话,语言文字规范化" "Dajia qing shuo Putonghua / Yuyan, wenzi, guifanhua!". ("Let's everybody speak Standard Mandarin, [and] standardize speech and spelling!")
