Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Dam on the Fechlin This section of the River Fechlin was until quite recently a rather fine stretch of rapids. Now a concrete dam (the signs say "weir" but no water flows over the top) holds back the water in a flat pool (and removes some for man's own uses). A scramble down to the river below the concrete dam face is now the way down, but more rapids remain for kayakers, and in the snowmelt conditions on this day, still had enough water for some sport. |
