Dannebrogsmands tecken - LRK 1690-1691
Description
Dansk: Dannebrogsmændenes hæderstegn, eksemplar fra Kong Christian X's regeringstid (1912-1947). Eksemplaret har tilhørt Kong Gustav V af Sverige. Dannebrogsmændenes hæderstegn er et sølvkors uden emalje, i modsætning til Dannebrogordenen som er emaljeret. På forsiden indskriptionen GUD OG KONGEN og det kronede monogram C5 for ordenens indstifter Kong Christian V. Dannebrogsmændendes hæderstegn blev indstiftet i 1808 af Kong Frederik VI. Hæderstegnet er afledt af Dannebrogordenen, som blev indstiftet i 1671 af Kong Christian V. Bagsiden indenholder et kronet W hvor korsarmene mødes [idet ordenen blev påstået indstiftet af Kong Valdemar Sejr], et kronet F VI for Kong Frederik VI samt årstallene 1219, 1671 og 1808. De tre årstal henviser således til de tre nævnte konger. Mellem de fire korsarme ses kongekroner. Ordenen er ophængt i den regerende konges kronede monogram, CXR for Kong Christian X [Christian X Rex].
Svenska: Dannebrogskors av silver, på åtsidan krönt namnschiffer C 5, samt GUD OG KONGEN, på frånsidan kränta namnchiffer: W och F VI samt årtalen 1219, 1674, 1808. Mellan korsarmarna kungliga kronor. Ovanför korset namnschiffer: CXR, krönt av kunglig krona med foder, igenom äpplet draget bandring.
