Beschrijving : "De beul van Auschwitz" [ Maximilian Grabner (staand) leider van de Politieke Afdelng van concentratiekamp Auschwitz wordt ondervraagd door dr Heinrich Dumayer, hoofd van de Weense politie en oud-geïnterneerde van Auschwitz]
Annotatie : Repronegatief. De ondervraging vond begin september 1945 plaats. De repro is gedateerd 28-12-1945. In twee kranten op 3 en 5 januari 1946 is deze foto gepubliceerd. Grabner heeft dan in beide onderschriften een verkeerde voornaam (nl. Wilhelm) en wordt hij foutief commandant van Auschwitz genoemd. Grabner werd in december 1947 in Polen ter dood veroordeeld en in januari 1948 opgehangen
