Nederlands: De heilige Hieronymus in zijn studeervertrek, wijzend met zijn linkerhand naar een schedel. Op zijn werktafel liggen verder een openstaande boek waarin een miniatuur van het Laatste Oordeel, boeken en paperassen, een bril of loep in een houder, pen en inkt, een kruisbeeld en een kaars. Aan de muur hangt zijn kardinaalshoed. Herhaling naar het origineel uit 1541 in het Prado te Madrid.
