a r. 12. Sëmènkoemboel latar irëng.Koemboel = dobber van een vischtuig. Korte, harige guirlandes met lijn- en hoek-motieven, dubbele lars met staart (sawat-ken-teekenen). 13. Sëmèn sinom latar irëng. Sinom = een jong blaadje van den tamarinde-boom. Uit rozetvormige middens ontspruiten ranken met tamarinde-bladachtige motieven. Daar-tusschen enkele 1 a rs (m i r o n g-kenteekenen) en bloem-motieven.212 14. Kembang asem latar irëng. Asem = tamarinde. (Tamarindus indica L, behoorende tot de Leguminosae). Uit rozetvormige middens ontspringen takjes met kleine, dubbele blaadjes, en steekjes met waaiervormige bloemen. Hier en daar een groote lar (mirong-kenteekeni, omgeven door bladguirlande (vergelijk hiermee no. 16 kémbang asem koeroeng onder de afzonderlijke bloemmotieven). 15. Sëmèn poering latar poetih. Poering = de naam van een heester, een sierplant (de Codiaeum variegatum BI, behoorendetot de Euphorbiaceae, of de Graptophvllum hortense Nees, behoorende tot de Acanthaceae).

Pëté = de naam van een groote soort boonen, stinkboonen, waarvan de Inlanders veel hou-den. (Parkia specioca Hassk, behoorende tot de Leguminosae). Groote vleugels en kapel-afbeeldingen tusschen bloem- en bladranken. Hier en daar ziet menblauwe ellipsen aaneengeschakeld als afbeeldingen van peulvruchten. 17. Sëmèn tjondra latar poetih. Tjondra = afmaling, beschrijving door vergelijking, of figuurlijke, zinnebeeldige uitdrukkingen.Groote, gedoomde lars (mirong-kenteekenenl tusschen varenbladachtige ornamenten aanranken, bloemmotieven, dier- en vogel-afbeeldingen. 18. Sëmèn goenoeng latar irëng.Goenoeng = berg. Op het blauwe veld zijn overal door soga-kleurige lijnen de sëmèn-kenteekenen weerge- 213
