Description
Deutsch: Der See im abgelegenen Talkessel von Derborence (Wallis) entstand durch einen schrecklichen Bergsturz im 18. Jahrhundert. Er steht heute unter Schutz und weist urwaldähnliches Gehölz auf Trümmermassen sowie viele Orchideenarten wie das rote Waldvögelein auf. Den Schriftsteller Charles-Ferdinand inspirierte die Geschichte zum Roman "Derborence" 1934. Seit der Klimaerwärmung nehmen die Bergstürze zu und gleichzeitig wurde dieses Naturidyll während des Lockdowns zu einem beliebten Ausflugsziel der Schweizerinnen und Schweizer.
