Lufthansa 452 arrives from Munich. This particular airframe, back in 2009, was my first-ever run on Lufthansa, as she operated the return leg, Lufthansa 453, to Munich. She was an excellent start to a two-week European adventure, which included picking up a European Delivery Mercedes-Benz near Stuttgart. This is my first time spotting her since that journey; glad to see an old friend again. Lufthansa often runs promotional offers for Southern California's vain motorists who take the European Delivery option on German luxury cars. Additionally, with services to both Frankfurt and Munich, Lufthansa is the only airline in Los Angeles that operates nonstops to two European destinations; the other European airlines at LAX only fly to their respective national capitals (Air France-KLM does operate its fleets/brands separately so it is considered two separate airlines for this purpose), American and United only fly to London Heathrow, and a few South Pacific airlines operate Fifth Freedom flights to one European city each.
