Description
Deutsch: Die Alpen sind Mittel-Europas höchstes Gebirge. Sie ragen bis auf 4800 Meter hinauf. Heute formt vor allem das raue Wetter die Alpen. Doch die Kräfte, die diese Berge aufgefaltet haben, kamen aus dem Erdinnern.
English: The Alps are Central Europe's highest mountains. They rise up to 4800 meters. Today it is mainly the rough weather that shapes the Alps. But the forces that unfolded these mountains came from within the earth.
