Text Appearing Before Image:
that I recommend your school to any young manwho is desirous of learning Telegraphy or Station Agents work. S. C. BOYLES, C/o. C.P.R., Beaucage, Ont., writes: — I wish to thank you for the prompt way in which you secured me aposition as soon as I completed my course. After attending your School for seventeen weeks, I had passed the20-word-a-minute test, and three weeks after I came up here. I wasNight Operator and receiving a salary of $65.00 per month, which withovertime, will amount to $83.00 per month. I think this is a very goodstart, considering that I never knew the first thing about railroadingbefore coming to your school, also coming off a farm. Remember me to the boys and tell them there are plenty ofpositions waiting for them as soon as they get through the School. I would like to say, that had it not been for such good Instructorswhich you have at your School, I should never have gotten through sosoon. 10 DOMINION SCHOOL OF TELEGRAPHY AND RAILROADING We Guarantee Results.
Text Appearing After Image:
Train Dispatchers Office. This illustrates the Instructor, with a Student Assistant, actingas Train Dispatcher, working with the Senior Class. Having a double-track railway with freight and passenger trains operated from thisdesk, together with the regular train order forms supplied by theRailways, etc., we guarantee results. Fourteen stations are equipped with Train Order Boards, Sema-phores, etc., and are so arranged that when a student receives anorder and puts up the semaphore upon the arrival of a train, the trainwill stop; when orders are completed and semaphore let down, thetrain proceeds—just like it would in actual work. Its the mostinteresting part of the Telegraph or Station Agents Course. 11 DOMINION SCHOOL OF TELEGRAPHY AND RAILROADING Telegraph Outfit Furnished WithHome Study Courses.
