Summary[edit]

Description A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-2 Skyraider (BuNo 122226), used as a prototype for the airborne early warning variant. Production AD-3Ws featured the shown APS-20 radar below the fuselage and a longer cabin. 122226 was originally used to demonstrate the improved engine cooling system that was later used on the AD-3.
