Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dtps. Taiwan Red Cat 'Red Cat' Phalaenopsis orchid Doritaenopsis[1][2] Parents: Doritaenopsis 'Taiwan Smith' x Doritaenopsis 'Kun-Cheng' [3][4][5][6]is an intergeneric hybrid between the orchid genera Doritis and Phalaenopsis (Dor × Phal). Any Phalaenopsis which has even a single occurrence of Doritis in its background is still registered as Doritaenopsis. Doritis has since been reclassified as Phalaenopsis, and as such, both Doritis and Doritaenopsis are now defunct generic names and are botanically categorized as Phalaenopsis, although the name Doritaenopsis is still commonly used horticulturally.
