| Description |
English: Dr Edward Kusionowicz Grodyński, son of Władyslaw and Zophia, practiced as a notary in Czarny Dunajec and during World War II travelled between Czarny Dunajec and his original home town of Kraków. This document, copied courtesy of the National Archive in Kraków (pl) (reference 29/1251/209), is one of a number of documents relating to his life around the period of the war. Władyslaw Kusionowicz, later to become Chief Magistrate of Kraków and elder brother of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz, changed his surname in 1893 (document reference L 88839 9.XI.1893, #33399/46) and it is believed Edward, his mother Zophia and his sisters Elżbieta and Janina also changed their surnames at this time (third sister Irena was born in 1894 so it is presumed there was no need to change her surname).
