Description
English: General view of the experimental field at Arlington Experiment Farm (Washington D.C., USA), showing the system of double insulators used in suspending the wire network from poles and the power lines leading to the motor in the apparatus house (foreground). Poles supporting the grounded network along the side of the control plat may be seen in the distance.
Français : Vue générale d'un champ expérimental d'électroculture (Arlington Experiment Farm, Washington (district de Columbia) aux USA). La photographie, datée du 08 mai 1918, montre le système de doubles isolateurs utilisés pour suspendre le réseau de fils entre les pôles et les lignes électriques reliées au générateur (situé dans le petit bâtiment de bois visible au premier plan). Les poteaux supportant le réseau mis à la terre, le long du côté de la platine de commande sont visibles au loin.
