English: MRI-image of the sagital neck with an ependymoom. On the left side the original image, on the right side the same image with annotations.
Nederlands: MRI-beeld van de sagitale nek met een ependymoom. Links het originele beeld, rechts hetzelfde beeld met annotaties. De voorkant van de patiënt is hier links op de afbeelding. Boven en onder de tumor is het ruggenmerg normaal (rode pijlen). Rondom het ruggenmerg is er voldoende ruimte, hierin bevindt zich het hersenvocht, op deze afbeelding wit. (Gele pijlen). Ter hoogte van de tumor is er geen hersenvocht zichtbaar, omdat de tumor het wervelkanaal geheel opvult. |
