During his visit to Germany in 1913, ʿAbdul-Bahāʾ took part in a children's festival in Esslingen near Stuttgart.

Deutsch: Im August 1911 begann ʿAbdul-Bahāʾ mit 68 Jahren seinen etwa 2-jährigen Besuch nach Europa und den Vereinigten Staaten. Er ist der Sohn des Stifters der Bahāʾī-Religion und war die längste Zeit seines Lebens ein Gefangener des Osmanischen Reichs. Er besuchte Frankreich, Groß Britannien, die Vereinigten Staaten und schließlich auch Deutschland. Am 1. April 1913 traf er in Stuttgart ein. Von dort aus besuchte er am 4. April ein Kinderfest in Esslingen. Mitte Juni 1913 beendet er seinen Aufenthalt in Europa und kehrt über Ägypten nach Haifa zurück.
English: In August 1911, ʿAbdul-Bahāʾ began his approximately 2-year visit to Europe and the United States at the age of 68. He is the son of the founder of the Bahāʾī religion and was a prisoner of the Ottoman Empire for most of his life. He visited France, Great Britain, the United States and finally Germany. He arrived in Stuttgart on 1 April 1913. From there he visited a children's festival in Esslingen on 4 April. In mid-June 1913, he ended his stay in Europe and returned to Haifa via Egypt. |
