Description
Norsk bokmål: Dette eplet er et gardseple på småbruket Grytenga på Toten, og er fra et eldgammelt epletre som sies å være godt over 100 år gammelt. Hvilken sort det er er uvisst, men det er et søteple. På tross av sin høye alder bærer treet år om annet godt med frukt, men i år ble eplehøsten begredelig. Men jeg fikk foreviget dette ene eksemplaret. Det er slett ikke usannsynlig at min stamfar Herman Evensen Fossemøllen (1839-1919) spiste av disse eplene. Dette skaper på et vis en link mellom meg og Herr Fossemøllen, noe som ikke bare gjør så at eplene smaker himmelsk, men at man opplever en historisk tilknytning når man spiser dem.
