Summary[edit]

Description

Called "waga," these grave markers are from the Konso people of southern Ethiopia.

If you didn't know better, you'd think they were from New Guinea.

In the ethnographic collection of the National Museum, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

I've complied with restrictions on the use of flash, and taken photos only when permitted by the museum.
